| Journal Description : | Revista Médica Vozandes (Rev Med Vozandes) is a biomedical journal published by one of the most relevant private hospitals from Ecuador: Hospital Vozandes Quito; which has a long history working as a teaching hospital. Nowadays the Rev Med Vozandes is indexed at LILACS/BIREME, LATINDEX and IMBIOMED. The articles are about medicine (all fields) and are published mainly following the rules of the International Committee of Medical Journals Editors (ICMJE). Most of the contributions are written in spanish from local authors but in the last years some articles are comming from other countries (i.e. Brazil and Spain) and a few were published in english. Main articles always have an english abstract. Each article has a CC licence and PDF version is free-on line from the hospital web. Rev Med Vozandes has one of the top scores in Ecuador (evaluation by Ministry of Health). With the new support of Reach Beyond in the hospital-administration, the journal staff is working to keep a biannual frequency for publications. |
