| Journal Description : | Human Ecology is a peer-reviewed Russian journal with a periodicity of 12 issues a year. The main focus of the journal is on research and practice in the fields of human ecology and public health. The journal publishes original articles, review papers, short communications, editorial materials and news. The primary audience of the journal includes health professionals, environmental specialists, biomedical researchers and post-graduate students.
The Editorial Board and the Editorial Council consist not only of prominent Russian scientists from all over the country, but includes also international professors. Approximately 20% of the authors in 2015 were affiliated to international research institutions.
All manuscripts go through a thorough peer-review to ensure the quality of publications in the journal.
Human Ecology journal is recommended by the Higher Attestation Committee of the Russian Federation for publication of materials from doctoral dissertations in health sciences. The journal is idexed in SCOPUS, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, CAB Abstracts, ProGquest and Global Health databases. It is included in the Russian Scientific Citation Index (partner of Web of Science), listed in the Russian abstract journal and is included in databases of the All-Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information.
