| Journal Description : | The journal Geografia em Atos (Online) is a quarterly periodical publication of the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, UNESP of Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Brazil, registered in the IBICT (Brazilian Institute of Science and Technology Information) and evaluated by Qualis / CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Level Personnel), linked to the Brazilian federal government. Since 1999 publishes and publishes articles.It has a program to prevent plagiarism: Turnitin.
Communicating and carrying out what is thought and produced in Geography is the first objective of Geography in Acts. This Journal is the result of the joint effort of the Commission for Publication and Dissemination of the Department of Geography of FCT / UNESP. The main objective of this Journal is to dialogue with the Brazilian geographic community and the organized society, as well as to stimulate research and ensure the dissemination of its results.
The new editorial line is born with the commitment to contribute to the theoretical debate, to strengthen the exchange of ideas and to build lines of dialogue with sectors not yet in tune with Brazilian Geography.
GeoAtos Magazine has offered and disseminated scientific works developed in the academic scope of the graduation in its headquarter institution and in other national and international academic institutions. Receiving streaming contributions from undergraduates, researchers and teachers.
The journal aims to publish various texts (articles, research notes, reviews) of national and international origin, prioritizing the geographic thematic coverage and related areas, which have quality, relevance, originality and are unpublished. |
