Journal Description :HiSTOReLo is a space for the socialization of research results obtained by researchers, historians, and people interested in creating historic knowledge. It promotes theoretical, historiographical and methodological debates on local and regional history studies. This journal accepts proposals aiming to link this discipline to other sciences in order to foster interdisciplinary dialogue. HiSTOReLo is published every six months (in June and December). It provides free and immediate access to every electronic edition. This project is academically and administratively supported by the Asociación Colombiana de Historia Regional y Local (Colombian Association of Regional and Local History), and the Grupo de Investigación Historia, Trabajo, Sociedad y Cultura (History, Work, Society and Culture Research Group). It is registered under ISSN 2145-132X, and it is listed in Publindex National Bibliographic Index (IBN Publindex) in B category. Original papers will be subjected to an editorial review process to be developed in several phases. In the first place, accepted articles will be the object of a preliminary evaluation by the Publishing Committee, the director and /or the editor, who will determine the appropriateness of publishing each article. Once it has been established the article fulfills thematic and formal requirements, as indicated in the instructions, it will be sent to two external academic peers, who will anonymously determine: a) publish it without changes, b) publish it once minor corrections have been made, c) publish it once a deep revision has been made, c) reject it. In case of discrepancy between both results, the article will be sent to a third arbitrator, whose decision will define its publication. The results of the academic report process will be unappealable in any case.
