| Journal Description : | As the Ombudsman's Office, we make serious efforts by organizing trainings, workshops, conferences and meetings as much as possible in order to explain the human rights and freedoms as well as the ways of seeking rights to the whole society. The academic journal Ombudsman is a product of these efforts.
In our Ombudsman Academic Journal, nearly 500 writers have made important contributions to public administration and law with their reviews, experiences, opinions and suggestions. To date, 10 of our journals have been published. Every issue of our journal is in the form of a book and it is a guide that will not lose its characteristic even after years. Turkish, English, German and French articles can be published in our journal. In the new publication period, our aim as Ombudsman Academics is to fulfill our historical mission in a way that is expected and to contribute more scientifically to the development of Turkish public administration, human rights, democracy and good governance principles.
In our scientific refereed journal called Ombudsman Akademik, which started its publication in December 2014, 68 articles have been published so far, including 58 compilations and 10 research articles. In our journal, he wrote 100 outstanding articles in the fields of academics and experts. 73 academic and bureaucrats took part in the advisory board of our magazine. 46 people who have performed different tasks in our institution on the editorial board of our journal contributed to the development of the Ombudsman Academy by taking part in the editorial board. 141 academicians contributed to the evaluation of the articles as referees. |
