| Journal Description : | Voluntas: International Journal of Philosophy is published by the Philosophy Graduate Program of the Federal University of Santa Maria and by the Brazilian Section of Schopenhauer-Gesellschaft. The Journal's mission is the publication of papers in the form of original articles, reviews, translations and interviews from the area of Philosophy. The periodicity of the magazine is biannual, publishing numbers exclusively oriented to the schopenhaueriana philosophy. From 2019 the journal will undergo a substantial reformulation, its periodicity will increase, it will have a triannual publication (3 issues per year) and each journal number will be divided into two parts: (i) a section called Schopenhauerian Studies, which works in continuous flow and gives continuity to the original profile of the journal; and (ii) a dossier on the most varied topics, which comprise the area of Philosophy, interspersed according to the three lines of research of the UFSM PPGF, namely: (1) Normative ethics, metaethics and applied ethics, (2) Language , reality and knowledge, and (3) Phenomenology and understanding. In addition, the journal will also publish special issues. |
