| Journal Description : | The Anuario del Centro de Investigación y Estudios Políticos is an annual interdisciplinary journal, open access and continuous publication. The fascicles are published annually (January to December). This publication is edited and funded by the Center for Research and Political Studies of the University of Costa Rica (CIEP) and aims to promote innovative research on Costa Rican, Central American, Latin American and global politics. The Yearbook publishes original articles arising from solidly theoretically and methodologically grounded academic research, academic reflections and bibliographic reviews. This magazine is aimed at teachers and researchers, students and the general public.
Areas of study include political culture and public opinion, political theory and thought, democracy and human rights, state and public policy, political ecology, nature and power and international politics, international political economy, and global studies.
Periodicity
The magazine is published annually. Each issue covers a period of time from January to December of each year, with a publication date every December 1. As of its twelfth edition - corresponding to January-December 2021 - the articles accepted by the journal will be published continuously.
The Yearbook receives articles for evaluation throughout the year. However, there is an article submission deadline for the current year volume: July 31st. Any article proposal received after that date will be published in the volume of the immediately following year, provided that it passes the evaluation process. |
