Journal Description :Calíope: Presença Clássica is amongst the most traditional journals of Classics in Brazil. Founded in 1984, it hosted during its 35 years of uninterrupted existence, scientific articles in the field of Classical Antiquity, Latin Middle Ages, and Latin Renaissance. The two annual editions are published on the academic platform SEER, passing through a double peer reviewed process. Articles can be sent anytime. The journal is linked to the Postgraduate Program in Classics (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras Clássicas (PPGLC)) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Its 36 editions include publications of important Brazilian and international scientists.
