The journal publishes articles that emphasize understanding of the science underlying modern technology and provides the most rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing and to disseminate the articles freely for research, teaching, and reference purposes. IJIHD allows free unlimited access to abstracts and full-text. The journal focuses on rapid publication with facilities of online research article tracking & Email/SMS alert etc. Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that the same work has not been published, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that its submission for publication has been approved by all authors and institutions where the actual work was carried out. Journal's Scope The subject areas covered by this journal include ( but not limited to ) natural product research, which in turn includes the following branches involved with it - ethno-medicine, ethno-botany, ethno-pharmacology, agriculture and forestry, food science and nutrition, life sciences, biochemistry, pharmacy, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, herbal formulations, toxicology, conservation, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, industrial chemistry, analytical chemistry, biotechnology, medicinal chemistry, veterinary science, aromatherapy, cosmetology, novel drug delivery, quality control, etc. Indigenous herbs and drugs refer to all kinds of research performed on plants that are specific to a particular geographic location or locality. Indigenous medicine refers to all the traditional systems of medicine like (any branches of) Ayurveda, Siddha, Homeopathy, Unani, Tibbi, Chinese, Folk medicine, Ethno-medicine, and all other existing classical systems worldwide.
