| Journal Description : | Culture e Studi del Sociale is a scientific journal that opens up a space of learning and a permanent confrontation between scholars, operators and civil society on the cultures and social policies. The ultimate goal is to promote a more articulated and multidisciplinary theoretical reflection on welfare transformations on the factors that favor / impede change, starting from the analysis, evaluation and comparison of the data of the various territorial realities.
Reflecting the current welfare system, giving an overview of needs, practices, knowledge, normative and institutional structures, tools, resources and their interdependencies, this is then the main purpose and modus operandi. The Journal wants to go a bit further, broadening the horizon of research from the local character of social programming to the transnational dimension of the process of constituting welfare, with particular attention to international relations, human rights and its compatibility / incompatibility with the global economic and labor system.
In this sense, the Journal can become a generator of ideas and proposals, to understand the complexity of the social and to contribute to the implementation of more and more innovative and sustainable welfare models. |
