| Journal Description : | Patanjala means river water that constantly flowing along the path through to the estuary. As well as the characteristics of river water, all human have to work and do good deeds, with focus on future goals. Patanjala is a journal containing research on cultural preservation/ cultural values in traditions, beliefs, arts, films, and history. All published articles have gone through the review process by well-read editors. Patanjala is published by Center for Preservation of Cultural Values of West Java (in West Java, DKI Jakarta, Banten and Lampung working areas). The editorial boards also received research articles in Indonesia, especially in the field of anthropology, history, arts, humanities and cultural studies. First published in 2009, Patanjala is a triannual journal, issued in March, June and September. Starting in 2020, however, it will only be published biannually, issued in April and October. Anyone can quote some of the contents of this research journal with the provision of writing the source.
Patanjala has been certificated as a Scientific Journal by The Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) since 15 April 2015. Accreditation Number: 628/AU2/P2MI-LIPI/03/2015 Valid thru: 2018. Reacredited by National Journal Accreditation Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia with Second Grade (Peringkat 2, Sinta 2) since year 2016 to 2020 according to the decree No. 21/E/KPT/2018, dated July 9th 2018.
Patanjala accepts submissions of original articles that have not been published elsewhere nor being considered or processed for publication anywhere, and demonstrate no plagiarism whatsoever. The prerequisites, standards, and format of the manuscript are listed in the author guidelines and templates. Any accepted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two referees. Authors are free of charge throughout the whole process comprising article submission, review and editing process, and publication. |
