| Journal Description : | The Rivista italiana di informatica e diritto (RIID) is a scientific online open access journal published by the Institute of Legal Informatics and Judicial Systems of the National Research Council (IGSG-CNR) .
The RIID publishes contributions on the subject of legal informatics and information technology law. These two scientific fields pertaining to the journal intersect and overlap. They include studies and critical analyzes both on the application problems of new information technologies in the field of law, and on the regulation of the development of information technology and telematics in modern societies.
The journal includes essays on legal informatics on automatic legal documentation, information systems, digital tools for the public administration and legal professions, artificial intelligence techniques and knowledge representation applied to law and computer law - in the filed of both public law (e.g. Internet and human rights; use of information technologies in the public sphere, etc.) and private law (legal protection of software; contracts for goods and telematic services, etc.).
The RIID has a half-yearly frequency. Published contributions are subject to double-blind peer review. |
