Fisheries, which is also an agricultural subsector, has great potential in developing the countrys economy, which is shown by the increasing number of fisheries production from year to year. The increase in the production of fishery products, both raw and processed materials, must be balanced with an effective and efficient distribution system method to ensure the quality of the fish remains in good condition. Good distribution management of fish products by controlling product temperatures that remain low throughout the distribution process is known as cold supply chain management. This requires cold supply chain management to be handled well because it has a controlling effect on fisheries logistics costs. Some of the facts above are the background for this research through analysis of the logistics cost structure, including the obstacles faced by the cold chain supply chain for caught fish and the cold chain business prospects and obstacles faced by this industry. As a result, an emerging field in the area of behavioral finance has emerged, which acts as a multidisciplinary field of study known as neurofinance. Neurofinance is a combination of fields of study like neurology, psychology, and finance and is an important tool for understanding an individuals behavior towards financial activity done through brain mapping. Thus, this paper constructs the concept of neurofinance in the life of an individual financial decision-maker. The present study demonstrates the available studies constructed by different researchers, authors, and organizations. After reviewing the existing literature, the researcher found a major gap in that there was not a single study conducted to determine the influence of neural behavior on financial decision-making among the private and government sector employees of a selected region. Therefore, it is imperative to know whether there is any association between neurofinance and the individual financial decision-making of the people in North-East India. | Socio-Economic Study of the Productive Role of Married Women in West Nusa Tenggara | Author : St. Maryam | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This paper aims to analyze socio-economic factors (womens education, husbands education, wages, family income, non-labor income, household expenditure) that encourage the productive role (work participation) of married women in West Nusa Tenggara. The research was conducted using qualitative ethnomethodological methods by trying to explain the reality of the socio-economic dimension of the productive role of married women in West Nusa Tenggara. Data was obtained from married female informants who worked as key informants, while family members, and other related informants, as accompanying informants (as well as for validation tests). The results of the study show a social (non-economic) aspect, for those who are highly educated, they want to devote the knowledge they have obtained. However, in addition to these reasons, there are also women who choose to work because they feel subjective, such as bored with the routine of taking care of the house, or because of the assumption that by working, their association and status are better than just being housewives. The basic assumption of all married women who perform productive roles is as a source of additional income. From the economic aspect, the condition of low-income households (poor families) has a target level of income in line with the level of subsistence. That the productive role of married women will depend on the husbands ability to generate income compared to the income target. If the husbands income is below the income target, the wife will work more to achieve the subsistence needs. The findings of this study can be concluded that there are two major reasons why married women in West Nusa Tenggara to perform dual roles, namely because it is a "must" and because of a "desire". |

| Unemployment Hysteresis in African Oil Exporting Countries: Evidence from Fourier Unit Root Test | Author : Saliu Mojeed Olanrewaju | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This study investigates the stochastic properties of unemployment rate in top ten African oil exporting countries, by examining whether the high unemployment rate in these countries are mean reverting or non-stationary. Using annual data spanning between 1991 and 2023, the study employs a battery of unit root tests, namely, Classical ADF, Fourier ADF (FADF), ADF with Structural Break (ADF-SB) and Fourier ADF with Structural Break (FADF-SB) to test which of the hypothesis of unemployment (natural rate hypothesis, hysteresis hypothesis and structural slump hypothesis) do the unemployment behaviours in African oil exporting countries actually belong to. Findings from the study reveal the superior functionality of FADF-SB over the other unit root tests, stemming from the ability of the ADF model laced with both Fourier and Structural Break to revert the high unemployment rates of all the reviewed countries to equilibrium. Based on the findings in this study, it is therefore concluded that the characteristics of unemployment rate in African oil exporting countries align with and support the structural slump hypothesis of unemployment and thereby recommended that the structural factors should be modelled in the unemployment trend of their economies. |

| Determinant Factor of the Intention to Reduce Food Waste | Author : Elang Kusumo , Cindy Claudia Halim , Johanes Octovianus | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This research has its background in the fact that Indonesia is the second largest producer of food waste, with each person throwing away around 300 kg of food waste per year. This makes food waste a significant global issue that affects food security, as well as the environment and economy. This research aims to analyze the effect of individual attitudes and awareness towards the intention to reduce food waste. The primary data was collected through an online questionnaire which was completed by 150 respondents who were selected using convenience sampling technique. The data were then analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software to test the effect of individual attitudes and awareness on the intention to reduce food waste, and ensure the validity and reliability of the research results. The outcome of this research shows that individual awareness has a dominant influence on the intention to reduce food waste, while the influence of individual attitude on the intention is not significant. It highlighted the importance of raising public awareness to effectively reduce food waste in Indonesia. Thus, it can be suggested that educational institutions should actively participate in addressing the issue of food waste by raising individual awareness through seminars, workshops and campaigns. This is expected to contribute significantly to reducing food waste in Indonesia and improving food security, as well as protecting the environment and economy more broadly. |

| Corporate Governance and Market Response: Mediating Role of Firm Performance Empirical Evidence from Indonesia | Author : Mohammad Iskak Elly , Grahita Chandrarin , Harmono | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This research aims to investigate the influence of corporate governance on market response (Rit) through company performance (ROI). Corporate governance uses measurements of the intensity of participation of managerial ownership, independent board of commissioners, audit committee and institutional ownership in the process of monitoring the companys managerial processes. Using a quantitative approach with ordinary leasquare analysis techniques and path analysis. Data from 60 manufacturing companies with the observation period 2017 to 2021, totaling N 285 samples. The research results show that corporate governance variables are dominated by managerial ownership in influencing company performance (ROI) and the ROI variable partially mediates the relationship between managerial ownership of the company and stock returns. Meanwhile, independent commissioner ownership, audit committee and institutional ownership do not affect company performance or stock returns. Thus, the governance conditions of manufacturing companies in Indonesia are dominated by managerial ownership compared to the ownership of independent boards of commissioners, institutional ownership and audit committees. In other words, supervision of managerial process governance is only dominated by managerial ownership. |

| Socio-Economic Determinants of Survival and Transition Rate of Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in South West Nigeria | Author : Olufemi Saibu ,Adebowale Ayobade , Oluseye Ajuwon | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The paper investigates the socio-economic factors that influence the rate of transition among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria. Data used for the analysis was obtained from a sample of 1100 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) located in two states of southwest Nigeria. This was achieved by employing mobile phone-enabled data collection ODK (open data kit) software to administer structured questionnaires. The transition rate was simulated utilising the analytical model of Kaplan survival. Over 90% of the surveyed MSMEs were micro-businesses, with only eight per cent and two per cent initially classified as small and medium-sized enterprises, respectively. However, after five years, 41% of small to medium-sized businesses and 30% of microenterprises have expanded to small scale. While the gender disparity continues to be a significant issue in Osun, its impact is comparatively lesser in Oyo state. Conversely, it is more probable that Osun SMEs will generate employment, expand, and develop more rapidly than Oyos enterprise. Commerce, technical service provision, support services, and manufacturing predominate over MSMEs, which contribute little to the economy and primarily facilitate product distribution. Additionally, the study revealed that enterprises led or owned by women have a 1.2-fold greater likelihood of expanding and hiring more personnel at a quicker rate than those led by men. Employee recruitment and career advancement within MSMEs are both influenced by the prevailing business climate. In contrast to the notion that higher education plays a substantial role in determining corporate survivability, it is technical and management education that exclusively impacts business performance. The findings indicate that government intervention efforts should prioritise small businesses over micro or medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) due to their greater capacity to generate income and employment. |
| The Effect of Customer Trust and E-Service Quality on E-Wallet Application Reuse Intentions Mediated by Customer Satisfaction: A Comparative Study on Master of Management Students in Indonesia and Malaysia | Author : Hikmah Julia , Akhmad Saufi , Dwi Putra Buana Sakti | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This study aims to understand the factors that influence the intention of Master of Management students in Indonesia and Malaysia to reuse e-wallet services. Specifically, this research examines the roles of customer trust and e-service quality in shaping customer satisfaction and reuse intention. This causal associative research focuses on Master of Management students in Lombok (Indonesia) and Cyberjaya (Malaysia) as the population. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) with Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results indicate that customer trust significantly influences the intention to reuse e-wallet services in Indonesia but not in Malaysia. Conversely, e-service quality significantly impacts reuse intentions in both countries. Additionally, in Indonesia, customer trust positively affects customer satisfaction, while in Malaysia, no significant relationship was found between customer trust and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, e-service quality positively affects customer satisfaction in both Indonesia and Malaysia. However, customer satisfaction does not significantly affect the intention to reuse e-wallet services in either country. These findings suggest that to maintain and enhance the reuse of e-wallet services, companies must focus on both customer trust and e-service quality, alongside customer satisfaction. Investing in the improvement of e-service quality and the strengthening of customer trust can be an effective strategy to retain the user base and increase customer loyalty in an increasingly digital market. |

| An Empirical Analysis of Money Demand and Its Stability in Zambia 1984-2021 | Author : Mumba C Lukwesa , Muchemwa Sinkala , George Mtayachalo | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The paper was an empirical analysis of the stability of money demand in Zambia between 1984 and 2021. The money demand function tries to explain the factors that influence peoples demand for money in an economy. The determinants included real income, exchange rate, inflation rate and interest rate. Using E-views 9.0, an appropriate model was estimated for statistical analysis. In the analysis of data, unit root tests were done to check the order of integration of the variables. Furthermore, to test for long term equilibrium relationships among variables the Augmented-Dickey Fuller (ADF) was used to test procedure on the residuals. Out of the many ways of testing for normality, this paper chose the Jarque-Bera test to conduct the normality test on the variables. From this studys results, the bound test showed that there is a long run cointegration relationship among demand for real money balances, real GDP, interest rates, exchange rate and inflation in case of broad money aggregates. In the long run, all the independent variables are significant determinants of money demand which will be positively affected by percentage changes in exchange rates and negatively by percentage changes in gross domestic product, inflation, and interest rate. The study found that for the implementation of monetary policy in any economy to be successful, it relies heavily on the instruments of monetary policy used as well as the structure of the economy. However, for emerging economies such as Zambia, there are special hurdles that may make the implementation of monetary policy less effective in the achievement of the monetary policy goals. From the findings, it is recommended that as the process of modernizing monetary policy frameworks are implemented in addressing emerging economic challenges, there is need to continue with monetary aggregates in monetary policy conduct. |
