Adverse reaction risk score in elderly GerontoNet ADR: review | | Author : Carina dos Anjos dos Santos, Marcia Eugenia Del Lano Archondo | | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :OBJECTIVE: to verify the applicability of the GerontoNet ADR risk score in the prevention of adverse reactions in hospitalized elderly patients.
METHODS: A literature review was carried out over a period of ten years in databases such as Google Scholar, Scielo and PubMed on the use of the GerontoNet ADR risk score in validation studies.
RESULTS: Although studies have shown that the GerontoNet score was a good predictor, with satisfactory sensitivity in 4 of the studies, there is a need for further studies that increase specificity.
CONCLUSION: Considering that adverse reactions can be avoided, dispensing them is the best strategy for efficient clinical results and cost reduction, with the participation of the pharmaceutical professional as an ally in care. |
| Massive and early testing of SARS-COV2 in rural unions affiliated to FAESP-SENAR/SP | | Author : Fabiana Fonseca, Roberto Almeida Duarte, Anderson Sena Barnabe | | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE: To describe scientific evidence that proves the relevance of screening for SARS-COV-2 cases as a strategy for epidemiological assessment of the progress of the disease in the State of São Paulo.
METHODS: 489,025 tests were performed in 253 rural unions affiliated to FAESP-SENAR/SP, and the epidemiological profile of positive cases for detection of immunoglobulin M was analyzed.
RESULTS: It was observed that early testing is an important factor for the construction of control charts and, consequently, for the observation of the progress of the epidemic in the state.
CONCLUSION: It is important to perform descriptive analytical observation on the variables of the infected. |
| Nutritional care for children with cerebral palsy: a systematic review | | Author : Ana Carolina Siviero Faria, Marcela Maria Pandolfi | | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE: Review the recommendations on nutritional care for children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and list the impacts of this pathology.
METHODS: Systematically search and analyse, in the PubMed, LILACS, BVS, Scielo databases, publications that report the nutritional care of children with Cerebral Palsy from the anthropometric assessment, the classification of the nutritional status and the choice of feeding route. The method of inclusion of articles was schematized in its identification, selection, inclusion, and eligibility.
RESULTS: Twelve articles were selected that presented divergences in the anthropometric assessment; others dealt with the nutritional status classification curves, highlighting the occurrence of malnutrition and, finally, there were articles on the main feeding routes of children with CP and the main associated difficulties.
CONCLUSION: More studies with homogeneous samples and with methodological quality are needed to clarify with a high level of evidence the possible relationships between diet and motor impairment, nutritional status and diet, and risks and eating difficulties. |
