| Difference And becoming in Alice Walkers The Color Purple and The Temple of My Familiar | Author : Khaoula Jaoudi | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Todays Postmodern world finds itself in a crisis of how to address its diversity as we move forward in our fight for gender and racial equality. Alice Walker is an African American writer whose fiction is very illuminating in terms of embracing the differences within each and every one of us. Her characters represent an invitation for people to look outside of the realm of their familiar, to experiment with the unfamiliar and to absorb and cherish the differences in us by immersing in processes of becoming and growth. Walkers transgressive characters project a variety of experiences that speak against the homogenizing nature of essentialism. They embody the postmodern philosophy of becoming, multiplicity, fluidity and creativity which I intend to unravel through a pluralistic analysis that aims to overcome the dangers of fixed identities by relying on Process philosophy and Deleuzian ontology of difference.

| The Design of An Accounting Information System Based on VBA Macros in Microsoft Excel | Author : Nisaul Barkah, Ida Farida, Arifia Yasmin | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Some MSMEs still use traditional accounting records. Apart from being inefficient, this can also increase the risk of errors in recording and reporting accounting made, and the impact can be detrimental to the MSMEs themselves, especially if the accounting system that is run has not fulfilled SAK EMKM. This study aims to design a sales accounting system application at Reglow by Bundami Distributor. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This research uses the waterfall model, which is a software development process that is carried out sequentially. The Blackbox testing method is also used to test this system, in addition to the validation process from material experts and media experts as well as trials at Reglow by Bundami Distributors. The results of this study conclude that the accounting system created can generate sales reports, total net sales, the number of products sold, and all types of products available. The practical contribution of these findings can help overcome problems regarding sales that have occurred so far, by building a vba macro-based sales information system and can streamline work in the companys sales administration activities.

| Anthropometry in the Sitolumbea Toba Batak Traditional House and its Transformation | Author : Putri Pandasari Napitupulu, Sri Gunana Sembiring | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :In several traditional villages, there are still traditional houses that are used by the community as residences. In the past, there were no room dividers in traditional houses; now, residents apply the privacy of each room so that room dividers are added to traditional houses, and there are additional rooms as the need for activities also increases. These changes in activities and use of space have also caused changes in the anthropometry of traditional houses, which are being reused as residences today. So, this research aims to determine whether the spatial pattern transformation in the Sitolumbea Traditional House meets the space standards for simple residences in Indonesia. This research was carried out by directly observing 1 Original Traditional House and 2 Sitolumbea Traditional Houses, which have been transformed to determine changes in anthropometry and the size of the space used. Then, it is compared with the standard size of residential space in Indonesia. Based on the results of the research conducted, the dimensions of the bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room do not meet the standard size of residential houses in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the living room and kitchen require wider dimensions.

| Broken Textbooks, Booming Tech: A Systematic Look at Blended Learnings Impact on Indonesian English Language Teaching | Author : Bachtiar, Maya Puspitasari | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Technology integration in education has brought immense changes in the teaching approach worldwide, including in English Language Teaching (ELT) in Indonesia. A literature review substantiates the argument that integrating the traditional pedagogical approach with web-enhanced learning methodologies presents a practical mode of delivering English Language Teaching (ELT) in Indonesia. It synthesizes findings from diverse studies on the effectiveness, challenges, and strategies of implementing blended learning in an Indonesian setting. The review highlights how blended learning can accommodate various styles of learning, be more flexible in offering access to resources, and be conducive to the delivery of interactive and engaging learning environments. However, it also identifies that while these infrastructures remain limited, digital literacy is not booming yet, and resistance to change still plays a big role. Therefore, they might encounter challenges in the assigned personnel carrying out their duties during this process. So, the studys goal was to create a paperless communication system that would make it simple for the recording officer to find, distribute, and alert recipients—whether or not they had a cell phone. Every stage of the waterfall model was applied to the development process for the system. The respondent assessed and tested the system, and found that it met the requirements for sending outgoing and incoming memos and communication letters to the intended recipients.

| Access to Healthcare: A Theoretical Analysis of its Dimensions | Author : Prof. NGOUHOUO Ibrahim, METAMBOU KEMGANG Jaurès Primo, OTTOU NSIMLA pierre Christian | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This article proposes a theoretical analysis of the dimensions of access to healthcare, in order to highlight the different aspects that need to be taken into account for the purpose of revitalizing the healthcare system and improving access to healthcare. The different dimensions analyzed were service availability, financial affordability and acceptability. Each of these dimensions was clearly defined, and their analysis enabled a better understanding of the theoretical factors essential to achieving access to care in each category. On the one hand, this approach enabled us to recognize that access to care is determined by the characteristics of both demand and supply in each of the dimensions. Moreover, it brought to light two lesser-known but essential dimensions of access to healthcare, namely the availability of services and the acceptability of care.

| We Are Managing: Challenges and Coping Strategies of Family Caregivers in a Short Term Hospitalization in the Eastern Region of Ghana | Author : Gladys Mawufemor Agbenyefia (Phd) | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Caring for a sick relative is not without challenges. Family members who leave their homes to care for a sick relative in an unfamiliar hospital environment encounter more challenges than those who provide care in their familiar home environment. This hospital ethnography was carried out in one of the secondary hospitals in Ghana. Thirty-two caregivers were sampled using the purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through the semi structured interview guide. Using the qualitative exploratory case study, the study revealed that the challenges facing family caregivers are multidimensional. These challenges are classified into three major groups: institutional, environmental, and financial. In response to these challenges, caregivers developed different strategies such as denying themselves some pleasures of life, developing faith in God through prayers and giving the identification card given them by the hospital authority to other relatives who are not recognised by the health professionals as caregivers.
