Context of Justice: Rethinking the Notion of Balance and Reciprocity | Author : OLALERE, Kunle Oluwafemi, Ph.D., Adedokun, Temitope Ruth | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The hermeneutics of justice spans across development, economics, government and socio-political rights. Its conceptualization and utilization for divergent purposes however creates an enigma that fundamentally hampers its application. This paper creates a discourse around the context and content of justice by utilizing Rainer Forsts Context of Justice as a framework in interrogating the debates between the Liberal and Communitarian propositions of the self and community respectively. It envisages a midpoint between these dissenting views and concludes that since the communitarian thesis encounters problems with its approach at submerging the rights of the individual within the communal structure, justice can only be effectively responded to and applied within an intersubjective context that not only resonates with but also synchronizes the offerings of liberalism with community without being incongruous.

| Eating Disorders: A Historical Perspective and Analysis of Current Treatment Approaches | Author : Binh, Thanh Thi Nguyen, Huong, Xuan Vu (PhD) | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Eating disorders are severe mental health conditions that are associated with a high level of illness and death. These disorders, which include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder, have complex causes that involve a combination of genetic, psychological, and sociocultural factors. The treatment for eating disorders focuses on restoring weight and establishing healthy eating habits, while also addressing underlying issues related to emotional regulation and distorted thoughts. Over time, the approach to treating eating disorders has evolved, with changes in both psychiatry and clinical psychology. In the past, these disorders were often seen as unexplainable forms of hysteria and were treated with rest cures and confinement in asylums. The introduction of psychoanalysis, behaviorism, and pharmacology brought about an expansion in the range of therapeutic options available, although their effectiveness remained limited. Progress was made through the establishment of specialized inpatient programs and the implementation of standardized treatment protocols, leading to improved outcomes. Presently, evidence-based protocols incorporate psychological therapy, nutrition rehabilitation, and medical monitoring that are tailored to meet the individual needs of patients. Among the various treatment approaches, family-based treatment has shown the strongest empirical support for young individuals, while enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy has proven effective for adults. Despite the significant advancements made, eating disorder interventions still face challenges such as high relapse rates, indicating the need for further evolution in intervention strategies to enhance prevention and accessibility. This paper aims to examine the historical development of eating disorder treatments while providing a critical analysis of the current gold standard interventions. The discussion will address the persisting challenges in reducing eating disorder morbidity and mortality by exploring innovative therapeutic targets, modalities, and methods of dissemination.

| ISO 14001 Environmental Standard: Process Approach and Identification of Environmental Aspects and Impacts | Author : Hanane El Fadel, Mohammed Merzouki | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Environmental management is the management of activities that may have an impact on the environment. It aims to limit polluting emissions and risks to the environment and to save natural resources. Often unsuspected and therefore without us always realizing it, all economic activities can have a considerable impact on the environment. Indeed, the manufacture of products requires the extraction of raw materials and the use of water and energy. Similarly, activities associated with the manufacturing process, such as maintenance, transportation; all have environmental impacts. The environmental management system is a progress tool that integrates the environmental dimension into an organizations strategy, leading it to set objectives, achieve and maintain performance through effective management and promotes anticipation (the forecast). There is a multitude of guides allowing self-diagnosis by the organization and which make it possible to make an environmental assessment. ISO 14001 is the environmental management standard (EMS) created by the international organization for standardization. It defines the requirements of a global environmental management system for self-reporting or certification purposes. It is organized in 17 points modeled on quality management, well known for 34 years in the industry. The standard does not establish any absolute requirement for environmental performance, other than a commitment to environmental policy, to comply with legislation and the principle of continuous improvement. Pollution prevention through the identification of the various significant environmental aspects and impacts, which accounted for 70% of the requirements of ISO 14001, is the main environmental improvement point. In addition, since these environmental aspects and impacts can only be identified from the activities, products and services associated with them, this article represents a working method that allows expressing good environmental practices, present in the form of environmental performance indicators that inform in a concentrated and precise manner on the different activities with environmental relevance.
