| Application of Human Rights Principles Towards Futile Care Medical Services and its Implications on the Code of Medical Ethics | Author : Faridnan, H.Sulbadana, Zulkarnain, Suardi Dg.Mallawa | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Futile care medical services are medical actions that clinically do not provide significant benefits for patient recovery and actually prolong suffering. In this context, it is important to review the application of Human Rights (HAM) principles, especially the right to life and patient autonomy, and to examine their compliance with the Indonesian Medical Code of Ethics (KODEKI) 2012. This study aims to: 1) analyze the application of human rights principles to futile care medical services and 2) determine whether futile care medical services are in accordance with KODEKI 2012. The research method is normative juridical, with an approach that focuses on the analysis of relevant laws and medical codes of ethics. The results of the study indicate that human rights principles, such as the right to life and the right to patient autonomy, have not been fully implemented in futile care cases in several medical practices. This is due to a lack of awareness of patient rights and the conflict between the ethical obligation to maintain life and the patients choice to end useless actions. From the perspective of KODEKI 2012, especially Article 10 concerning respect for patient rights and Article 11 concerning protection of life, futile care services are still an ethical issue that requires wise handling so that doctors can maintain patient trust, while still adhering to applicable medical ethics principles.

| Project SAMPAY: A Sensor-Activated Machine for Cloth-Placing and Drying | Author : Freddie O. Orperia | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :"Project SAMPAY: A Sensor-Activated Machine for Cloth-Placing and Drying" tackles the problems with conventional clothing drying techniques, which either depend on the weather or use a lot of energy, like electric dryers. In order to automate the drying process, this study investigates the creation of a sensoractivated cloth drying machine that incorporates temperature, humidity, and moisture sensors. The technology automatically modifies drying parameters to guarantee energy efficiency and fabric care by continuously observing ambient elements and fabric conditions. Because less human involvement is required, the drying process is more effective, convenient, and energy-efficient. Additionally, it offers the possibility of more intelligent, environmentally friendly solutions by utilizing machine learning and IoT capabilities for customized drying cycles. In addition to improving the user experience, the article shows how these advances might help reduce the environmental effect and energy consumption of traditional drying processes. The results lend credence to the increasing promise of sensor-based drying technologies in creating more ecological and effective home appliances.

Hence, it is best to utilize digitized teaching to the students. This mixed-method employing explanatory sequential design used quasi-experimental design, particularly one- group pretest-post-test approach and phenomenology in the qualitative phase. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Digitized Instructional Assessment in teaching the tenses of verbs among the Grade 7 learners. Particularly it identified whether the pre-test and post-test result have a significant difference. It also described how the learners experienced DIA during classes. The intervention was employed among 20 grade 7 students who were identified using a purposive sampling technique. The result revealed that the level of pre-test is low while the post-test is high. Therefore, there is significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. This showed how effective the intervention was in learning the tenses of verbs in a digitized perspective. The themes formulated from their experiences of the students were interactive learning, convenient learning, and common challenges in learning.
